Description
Osmosy4 is a 4-stage in-line osmosis system by Aqpet. The reverse osmosis process allows you to eliminate unwanted substances contained in tap water, thanks to the passage through a semi-permeable membrane, a sediment cartridge, an activated carbon cartridge and a deionizing resin, thus purifying the water for your aquarium. Equipped with FlushValve system for washing the membrane.
4-stage filtration
Through the application of pressure, the membrane allows unwanted elements to be separated through an osmotic process, providing pure water. The average reduction of unwanted substances is estimated at approximately 96-98% reduction. The system is also equipped with two cartridges, 5um sediment and carbon, which have the purpose of carrying out a chemical and mechanical pre-filtering before the water can be treated through the membrane, this guarantees greater quality of the output values and longer duration of the plant itself. In particular, the activated carbon cartridge eliminates chlorine from tap water which has a particularly negative effect on the life of the membrane. Finally, there is a further cartridge containing mixed bed resin which has the aim of almost completely reducing the output TDS values by reducing NO3-, PO43-, SiO4.
Cartridges
- VONTRON MEMBRANE
To be inserted into the appropriate empty cartridge on the top of the osmosis system, it is ideal for removing dissolved inorganic salts, heavy metals, organic matter, bacteria, viruses and harmful minerals that aggregate in the treatment of running water.
- SEDIMENTS
The sediment cartridge retains particles such as sand, rust, microorganisms, flakes etc. making the water clean, clear and free of suspended material.
- ACTIVATED CARBON
The cartridge is made with high quality activated carbon to eliminate chlorine, harmful contaminants and pesticides from the water, making the water clear and free of dangerous substances.
- DEIONISING RESIN
Cartridge made of high quality mixed bed deionizing resin, for the reduction of dissolved solids and carbonate hardness as well as other dissolved materials.
FlushValve included
The system is equipped with a valve that allows periodic washing of the membrane in a convenient and quick way. This operation has the aim of significantly extending the operational life of the membrane and guaranteeing the quality of the output values.

Poca produzione di acqua osmosy line impianto nuovo?
Assicurarsi che i collegamenti idraulici siano stati eseguiti come da istruzione, controllando i raccordi di ingresso, scarto e produzione .
Verificare che la membrana sia stata posizionata nel modo corretto: il lato con le due guarnizioni piccole va nella parte bassa dove ci sono i raccordi di uscita e scarto.
Lo scarto d’acqua è in corrispondenza del raccordo dove è posizionato il barilotto riduttore di flusso.
Attenzione: la quantità di acqua prodotta dipende dai valori di temperatura ambiente e pressione acqua ingresso.
Se la pressione è inferiore ai 3 bar ( 2,5 valore minimo ) , la quantità di acqua prodotta sarà notevolmente inferiore .
In tal caso è da consigliare l’uso di una pompa Aqpet booster, attendere comunque almeno qualche ora di funzionamento per far stabilizzare l’impianto prima di valutare
Considerare che le indicazioni di 190 Lt giornalieri si riferiscono a valori teorici con paramenti di pressione ideali al funzionamento delle membrane .
Poca produzione acqua impianto osmosy line già funzionante da tempo.?
Potrebbe essere necessario effettuare un lavaggio della membrana .
In tal caso per l’impianto osmsosy line , scollegare completamente il raccordo dove è posizionato il riduttore di flusso asportandolo e far funzionare in questo modo per almeno 15 minuti , successivamente ricollegare il riduttore di flusso e valutare .
Si consiglia comunque di procedere al lavaggio eseguendo questa procedura , almeno con cadenza trimestrale o anche prima nel caso di produzioni d’acqua abbastanza elevate e continue.
ATTENZIONE : Non esporre l’impianto mai alla luce solare e/o alle intemperie e non usare acqua calda come ingresso per non provocare danni irreparabili alla membrana .
La qualità dell’acqua di rete e la frequenza delle manutenzioni ( entrambi fattori soggettivi) oltre che la quantità di acqua prodotta , alterano chiaramente il tempo di utilizzo , per questo valutare in base ai parametri in uscita se è il caso di intervenire nella sostituzione della membrana .
