Description
Phosphate Remover, from the Aqpet line of filter media, is a granular ferric oxide (GFO) used to bind phosphates and silicates present in water. Suitable for fresh and marine aquariums.
High porosity
Its particular high porosity structure allows it to achieve a very high exchange capacity compared to other products on the market.
Reduction of phosphates and silicates
It significantly and rapidly reduces the content of phosphates and silicates without altering the water's properties and without releasing waste substances. Furthermore, it binds elements stably and durably.
New formula with very high absorption
Its new improved formula offers one of the highest absorption capacities on the market, at 1.99 mg/g (value referring to the real absorption capacity within the pH range of an aquarium).
Instructions for use
Use the included filter bag and rinse with RO water before use, placing it in an area with good water flow. Before the filter media, use a mechanical filtration product. Use approximately 50g per 250 L of saltwater or 500 L of freshwater.
