AQPET WILD SAND NATURAL SAND 5 KG - BLACK INK

Sand is one of the main products added to a tank during its setup. Sands are commercially available in various grain sizes and colors, often unnatural and very striking. The entire Aqpet team has worked extensively to offer you sands that can enhance the beauty of nature. The WILD SAND line is a line of completely natural sands, with uniform grain size allowing for a homogeneous and compact substrate. The sand undergoes a preventive cleaning and sterilization process, but it is still recommended to rinse it in fresh water before use in an aquarium. The different grain sizes and colors meet the needs of all enthusiasts, without ever sacrificing the simplicity and uniqueness of wild nature. In fact, particular attention has been paid to the choice of colors to highlight the natural shades of the fauna and flora present in the tank and to allow all aquascapers to unleash their creativity, recreating an habitat faithful to the natural one and not too far from a wild ecosystem.

The sands are collected from nature, so they may contain traces of calcareous substances. Their use is particularly indicated with acidifying allophane substrates due to their buffering capacity. Check for compatibility based on the layout and type of setup you intend to create.

There are six colors:

• BLACK INK – a sand composed of 1 mm granules, it has a very intense black color reminiscent of the wide volcanic beaches found in Hawaii.
• RED BRICK – a sand composed of 1 mm granules, it has a brick-red color reminiscent of the vast iron-rich beaches found in the Galapagos archipelago.
• RED ZAFIRO – a sand composed of 1 mm granules, it has an intense red color like many high-iron concentration beaches found in Peru.
• ROSE VELVET – a sand composed of 1 mm granules, with a very light and delicate pink color. Many beaches in nature have this characteristic color due to the accumulation of certain calcareous shells with a generally pink coloration.
• NATURAL LAGOON – a sand composed of 4 and 6 mm granules, it has a mixed color tending towards grey, reminiscent of the sedimentology of lagoons with low water movement.
• TROPICAL LAKE – a sand composed of 1 and 2 mm granules, it has a mixed color tending towards beige, reminiscent of the sedimentology of lakes with low water movement.

The sand packages are 5kg and can also be used together, by mixing colors and grain sizes.
