Usage Modes and Tips
A Practical Example for calculating the required meters of liner, assuming a depth of 40cm:
To calculate the required liner, use the following formula: length x width = square meters needed.
The LENGTH is calculated by measuring the length of the pond and adding twice the depth.
The WIDTH is calculated by measuring the width and adding twice the depth.
Also, calculate at least 60 cm of extra liner for each side.
A pond 3 meters long and 2 meters wide with a maximum depth of 40 cm will have the following formula:
WIDTH = 2 m + 0.40 m (depth) + 0.40 m (depth) + 0.60 m (edge) + 0.60 m (edge) = 4.00 m
LENGTH = 3 m + 0.40 m (depth) + 0.40 m (depth) + 0.60 m (edge) + 0.60 m (edge) = 5.00 m
TOTAL LINER TO ORDER = 4 x 5 m = 20.00 sq m
