CERAMIC FILTER RING is a ceramic biological material that uses the new Open PorosityTM technology. The particular ceramic manufacturing process favors the formation of an open and extended network of interconnected micro and macro-pores that create the best conditions for the colonization and development of nitrifying bacteria, also thanks to the large usable surface of about 480 sqm / L . It can be used in both fresh and sea water, it has a low impact on the tds value and does not alter the pH (7 / 7.5).
